Colloquia on various topics in statistics are presented on Friday mornings at 10:30. The colloquia are open to all, and registration is not required.

Students interested in obtaining one hour of credit for their attendance can register for the appropriate section of CSI 898. The course requirements are attendance at a minimum of ten colloquia and preparation of brief written reviews/summaries (approximately one page each) of five colloquia during the semester in which the course is taken.

In addition to colloquia on computational statistics, a substantial number of colloquia address various other topics in applied statistics. Statisticians employed in various agencies of the Federal Government are frequent speakers.
