A generalized parallel coordinates plot is introduced in order to assist an analyst to visually explore hidden patterns that might exist in a given data. Generalizing the plot to detect alternate structures in a given data set is suggested. The mathematical foundations of the method and its geometric structure are well explained. We compare our experimental results with the earlier results on real data set.
