Classification Using Spatial Information
James A. Shine
US Army Topographic Engineering Center
ABSTRACT
There are a wide variety of classification approaches, but use of
spatial information directly in the classification process is rare. This
talk will explore a classification approach which does use spatial
information directly in the classification process. The approach will
be detailed and results of experiments with imagery will be
presented.
