GOSIC (Global Observing Systems Information Center)
The Global Observing System Information Center (GOSIC) provides information on the observing requirements, the operational data systems, and the access procedures for finding and obtaining data and products of the G3OS. The G3OS consists of the Global Climate Observing System (GCOS), the Global Ocean Observing System (GOOS), and the Global Terrestrial Observing System (GTOS). GOSIC is supported by the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration and the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
GHRC (Global Hydrology Resource Center)
GHRC is a part of the Global Hydrology and Climate Center (GHCC). The GHRC supports product generation, archive, and distribution of research quality and operational data sets for the TRMM Lightning Imaging Sensor (LIS) data products. The GHRC also supports global tropospheric and stratospheric temperatures derived from the Microwave Sounding Unit, global tropospheric water vapor derived from the Special Sensor Microwave Temperature Sounder (SSM/T2), and aircraft passive microwave data collected during field experiments using the Advanced Microwave Precipitation Radiometer (AMPR).
ASF (Alaska SAR Facility )
SF's primary mission is to acquire, process, archive, and distribute satellite Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) data for the U.S. government and research communities. Registration required to access data.
EDC (USGS EROS Data Center DAAC)
It's part NASA's Earth Observing System (EOS) Data and Information System (EOSDIS) initiative to process, archive, and distribute land-related data collected by EOS sensors, thereby promoting the inter-disciplinary study and understanding of the integrated Earth system. The EDC DAAC role subsequently was expanded to include processing and distribution responsibilities related to Landsat 7 data. We will archive and distribute ASTER and MODIS data from Terra, the first EOS satellite.

NCDC is the world's largest active archive of weather data. NCDC produces numerous climate publications and responds to data requests from all over the world. NCDC operates the World Data Center for Meteorology, Asheville which is collocated at NCDC.

he National Centers for Environmental Prediction provide timely, accurate and continually improving worldwide forecast guidance products. NCEP, a critical part of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's National Weather Service, is the starting point for nearly all weather forecasts in the United States. HPC (Hydrometeorological Perdiction Center)
The HPC provides basic hydrometeorological analyses and forecasts for National Weather Service Field Offices and other meteorological interests. HPC meteorologists serve as experts in quantitative precipitation forecasting and numerical model interpretation. Products provided by the HPC include surface analyses, outlooks for heavy rain and snow, as well as guidance weather forecasts through five days.
MPC (Marine Prediction Center)
The MPC originates and issues marine warnings and forecasts, continually monitors and analyzes maritime data, and provides guidance of marine atmospheric variables for purposes of protection of life and property, safety at sea, and enhancement of economic opportunity.
